Now hiring: NIDC Technical Manager

The National Isotope Development Center (NIDC) is actively seeking a Technical Manager - Accelerator Products to join our team. Located at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee, the NIDC serves as the business interface for the U.S. Department of Energy Isotope Program (DOE IP).

This Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing the NIDC’s accelerator isotope product line, which includes coordinating production across DOE IP accelerator sites and regularly interfacing with customers of our accelerator isotope products to ensure the needs of the U.S. market are being adequately met. This senior-level role will also help evaluate new production requests by assessing technical and economic feasibility alongside DOE IP program managers. Additionally, the position will provide recommendations to DOE IP regarding entering/exiting isotope markets.

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable self-starter who is eager to make a direct impact within the isotope user community and support the DOE IP mission.
