Anthony Chapman joined the National Isotope Development Center (NIDC) in 2023 as a Market Research Analyst. He works directly with NIDC staff and U.S. Department of Energy Office of Isotope R&D and Production (DOE IRP) management to perform market research on isotopes used for medicine, science, and industry. In this role, he monitors and analyzes global isotope market activity in order to advise the DOE IRP on emerging technologies, market changes, pricing, and other technical data.
Before joining the NIDC, Anthony held positions in both the public and private sector, including at Maxar Technologies, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, The University of Tennessee, and Lee University. As the Head of Access Services at Texas A&M University-Kingsville Library, he led a multi-operational team, developed and implemented policies, provided research services, and served as a liaison to the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and the Department of Biological & Health Sciences for curriculum-integrated research support. He has over 15 years of experience in research data services.
Anthony holds a Master of Science from The University of Tennessee; a Bachelor of Science from Lee University; and Logistics certificates from the United States Army Sustainment University. He commissioned from the Federal Officer Candidate School, U.S. Army Infantry School and currently serves as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
